Twins sit Punto with sore groin

Minnesota Twins third baseman Nick Punto has a sore groin muscle and will sit out for a game or two. Manager Ron Gardenhire said Friday before the Twins played Kansas City that Punto's status was day to day. Brendan Harris was in the lineup at third base.
