FDA Mulling Restrictions on Tylenol, Other Acetaminophen Products

The Food and Drug Administration is meeting beginning today to discuss possible ways to reduce overdoses of acetaminophen, the pain-killing drug found in popular brands such as Tylenol, Excedrin, Theraflu, and NyQuil.As many as 56,000 people are admitted to emergency rooms across the United States each year due to overdoses of acetaminophen, the FDA said.
