‘Muscle’ man spared jail for part in £1.8m bootleg booze scam

A man who worked as the 'muscle' for a gang which distributed £1.8million of bootleg booze across England and Scotland has been given a suspended prison sentence. Mohammed Vaqas, 28, was part of a massive fraud to avoid paying UK duty on thousands of litres of beer, spirits and wine.
